Andrea was one of the founding partners of Zeal, launching the company in 2001. She grew the business from a start up into a multi-million pound business and sold Zeal Entertainment to DRG in 2007. Andrea continues to be Managing Director of Zeal and sits on the executive board of DRG. Andrea is also Chairman of DRG’s Acquisitions Group and works closely with the DRG acquisitions team to invest in content acquisition across all DRG companies.

Andrea is one of the most experienced people in the formats distribution business. Before founding Zeal, Andrea was Head of International Sales at Mentorn (part of the Television Corporation). Responsible for growing the company's business beyond the UK market, Andrea negotiated co-production deals and format sales for formats such as 'Robot War's, MTV's 'Fear' and BBC's 'Star for a Night'. Prior to Mentorn, Andrea worked for formats specialist Action Time (now part of Granada International) licensing formats such as '15 to 1', 'Catchphrase', 'Chance of a Lifetime' and 'Survivor' in international markets.

Carolina den Baas joined Zeal Entertainment from the United Nations Development Programme Headquarters in New York, where she was working in the communications department.

A Dutch Argentine who grew up in different Latin American countries, Carolina studied Business Administration and Political Science between Lima, Montevideo and London. Carolina joined the Zeal team as International Sales Executive, looking after South America, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Italy and France.

At Zeal, Lisette looks after Scandinavia, Benelux, Central and Eastern Europe, German speaking markets and is Head of Sales for the UK-based sales team.

She originally comes from Germany, but has been living in the UK for many years, where she also graduated from a Media & Social Sciences course. Before joining Zeal, Lisette worked in events management and before that in short film production. .

Annabel looks after New Zealand, Australia, Canada, South Africa and Africa as well as working on other cross territorial special projects.

After obtaining a degree in Spanish and Latin American studies, Annabel has pursued a career in the media which has taken her to London, Madrid and South America. Previously Annabel has worked for BBC Bristol on “Driving School”, Discovery Channel and ITV.

Mike looks after the territories of Netherlands, Belgium, Israel, India, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Russia.

Mike worked in the telecommunications industry before joining Zeal, with prior work at British Telecom Plc and Canute Consulting Ltd.

Siobhan, supported by the Digital Rights Group accounts team, interfaces with Zeal’s clients on accounting and finances. Siobhan also co-ordinates the production support for format sales to international buyers.

Alongside working for Zeal, Siobhan is completing a History and German Language Degree. Before joining Zeal, Siobhan worked for a children’s charity.

Alice coordinates format acquisitions for Zeal Entertainment, providing client liaison for rights holders and production support for format sales to international buyers. Supported by the Digital Rights Group Alice also oversees day to day operations for the Zeal office.

Alice joined Zeal after relocating from Bristol where she spent five years in a Marketing & Development role for Encounters Festivals, which produces the UK’s leading short film and animation festivals held annually in the city. Prior to this Alice studied Culture and Media Studies in Bristol, where she also completed an MA in European Cinema.

Roxanne supports the International Sales and Acquisitions team at Zeal, coordinates the delivery of promotional and production materials and assists with international marketing.

She has recently completed a degree in American Studies (Art and Film), which included a year living and studying in California. Before joining Zeal, Roxanne worked as an office administrator for an IT company.
